We are a fast-paced company looking for a reliable Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide product and service support to customers and office management to facilitate sales and help resolve any emerging problems customers may face. We expect the candidate to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform additional duties as needed.
* Compiling and reviewing invoices for payment processing.
* Adhering to safety procedures, using personal protective equipment, and following safe work practices.
* Communicate and follow up with clients on outstanding invoices and assist with the resolution of disputed accounts.
* Gathering necessary information for invoice payments and creating vouchers with invoice details in accordance with accounting policies.
* Maintaining detailed records of outstanding payables to prevent overpayments and vigilantly monitor payments to ensure timely vendor settlements.
* Processing invoices, reviewing financial data for accounts payable maintenance, and offering clerical support for the organization's financial obligations.
* Confirming vendor accounts through monthly statement reconciliation and transaction verification and archiving historical documentation such as invoices, reports, receipts, and checks.


REQUIREMENTS

* Native proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in French is a plus
* · 1+ years of proven experience in customer sales and support roles - must have
* · Proven track record in converting general incoming customer inquiries through phone and chat into sales
* · Strong phone and chat contact handling skills and active listening
* · Excellent communication skills
* · Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
* · Highly processed-oriented with rigorous and tenacious follow-up abilities
* · Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, CRM systems and back-office environments
* · Work well autonomously as well as in a team environment
* · High/College degree required, University degree will be considered an asset

    Being an Associate Vice-President of the Agriculture Unit at National Bank means contributing to the implementation of the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 strategy. It also means taking charge of a team of specialists who contribute to the growth of agricultural producers of the Alberta and British-Columbia region by offering advice, support and financial services tailored to clients.

    Your role:

  • Support organizational changes and contribute to the development of your team through a multidisciplinary team approach (Commercial, Private Banking 1859, Insurance, etc.) around the client and all of their needs

    Reporting to the Regional Vice President - Agriculture, you will act as a leader for the Alberta and British-Columbia territory’s team. It is made up of Account Managers and Account representatives.

    Prerequisites :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 9 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience dealing with Agriculture Commercial Banking clients
  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector or field
  • Solid background in personnel management
  • Experience in complex financing structures and risk analysis
  • Experience in sales coaching
  • Negotiation experience
  • Ability to maximize the use of sales management tools (e.g., dashboards)

    Vos responsabilités :

  • Soutenir le Banquier privé principal / Vice-président en effectuant diverses tâches administratives et de service à la clientèle assignées par le gestionnaire.
  • Assurer la satisfaction et la fidélisation de la clientèle en développant une relation personnalisée répondant aux besoins de chaque client.
  • Optimiser les interventions auprès des clients et identifier les opportunités de vente.
  • Ouvrir des comptes commerciaux et personnels et effectuer diverses transactions au nom des clients.
  • Contribuer à l'efficacité des activités administratives et financières en assurant un suivi rigoureux des dossiers clients.
  • Participer activement à l'amélioration de l'efficacité opérationnelle et des processus.
  • Identifier tous les risques inhérents aux activités du secteur de la gestion de patrimoine.
  • Proposer aux clients des produits ou services adaptés à leurs besoins.
  • Effectuer des analyses préliminaires, la compilation, la vérification et l’indexation des informations financières et structures fiscales nécessaires au traitement des demandes de financement, conformément aux normes établies par le centre de crédit.
  • Respecter les délais (prêts, investissements, revenus d’intérêts).
  • Établir et maintenir une communication efficace avec les différentes parties prenantes impliquées dans les dossiers.
