We are currently recruiting for a skilled contract AWS Engineer to play a crucial role in the optimization and maintenance of our AWS Connect environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our customer contact center operations. You will leverage your deep understanding of AWS Connect to manage queues, configure routing profiles, and develop and maintain contact flows. This is a 6-month hybrid contract based in Toronto; 2 days on-site are required.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS Connect contact flows to optimize customer interactions.
- Configure and maintain AWS Connect queues, ensuring efficient distribution of customer contacts.
- Develop and manage AWS Connect routing profiles to direct contacts to the appropriate agents based on defined criteria.

- Participate in the planning and execution of AWS Connect upgrades and enhancements.
- Adhere to company security and compliance policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Significant hands-on experience with AWS Connect, including:
- Designing and implementing complex contact flows.
- Configuring and managing queues and queue settings.
- Developing and maintaining routing profiles and rules.
- Strong understanding of contact center operations and best practices.
- Experience with AWS CLI and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) is a plus.
- AWS Certifications are a must

Your Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the DevOps & Technology team to design, deploy, and support infrastructure, tools, and applications across multiple AWS environments.
- Architect and implement secure, scalable
and resilient AWS solutions. This includes researching new technologies, managing current infrastructure, maintaining/updating/migrating AMIs, optimizing EC2 instances, and cost analysis.
- Translate non cloud native technologies to equivalent AWS counterparts.
- Drive scripting and automation to deploy and manage AWS infrastructure efficiently.
- Define, document and follow standards and best practices for managing AWS infrastructure.
- Scale AWS infrastructure to support application needs, focusing on reliability and security.
- Administer deployment tools, automate tasks, manage access, and troubleshoot production deployments, provisioning VM instances and workstations as needed.
- Enhance monitoring and performance with CloudWatch (or other tools), providing comprehensive logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, primarily in Jenkins, including creating, building, and monitoring jobs. Support developers and production teams by maintaining and optimizing internal environments, including serverless migration of jobs.
- Troubleshoot network, infrastructure, database, and application issues as they arise.
- Participate in security initiatives, including penetration testing, disaster recovery planning, cyber incident response, and policy enforcement.
- Design and validate disaster recovery, resiliency, and cross-region replication scenarios.
- Document and enforce AWS security policies, maintaining updated IT procedures.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS Cloud technologies.
- Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and independent work style.
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services: IAM, VPC, RDS (PostgreSQL), EC2, S3, ALB, WAF, Route 53, SSM, SNS, SES, AWS Backup, Lambda, API Gateway, KMS, Auto-Scaling, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and others.
- Experience with AWS networking configurations, such as VPC peering, private link, and AWS Organizations.
- IAC, Terraform, and CloudFormation development.
- Proficiency in AWS Tools for PowerShell and AWS CLI.
- Solid programming and scripting skills (C#, HTML, XML, .Net, JavaScript, PowerShell, Groovy, Python).
- Working experience with source code management, automated deployment and orchestration tools, such as Jenkins, GIT, and Subversion.
- Working knowledge with IIS, Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Windows Server ), Windows 10 Administration, and Networking knowledge, including AD, DHCP, and routing.

The Role
As a Sr. Cloud Engineer at Showbie, you will play a key role in driving our cloud-native transformation. Youll work closely with infrastructure and product engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems in our AWS-based environment. Your work will directly support our mission of delivering a fast, secure, and dependable platform for teachers and students globally.
Youll apply DevOps and SRE best practices to optimize infrastructure, enhance developer productivity, and improve service reliability. Youll also help automate and streamline operations, enabling our teams to ship high-quality code quickly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

- Paint the full picture! As an Account Executive, you will wear the hat of problem solver for your clients. They will explain to you their current pain points, and you will demonstrate how NeuraFlash can help resolve these issues to help the client's company operate at its' fullest potential.
- 3-5 years of experience in software sales, preferably within the Amazon Connect space
- 3+ years of experience managing and closing multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
- Industry knowledge and a strong network with channel partners (AWS)
- Experience selling innovative solutions to new customers, and ability to upsell new products to existing customers/accounts
- Ability to present in front of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner that represents the NeuraFlash brand positively
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets, putting you in the top 10% of your current company
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with clients
- B.A./B.S Degree or equivalent experience

This role is with a company that is a leader in the video streaming industry. This role is great for someone located in Canada looking for a remote role.
You Will:- Designing, building, and running the data infrastructure to support the Video organizations growing data needs.
- Promoting best practices, and improving the quality of the internal data products inside the video organization.
- Suggesting, and defending solutions to make the video data platform best in class.
- Develope scalable RESTful services using Go
- Manage large scale AWS based infrastrucuture
- 5+ years of experience building large scale reliable data backends, in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience distilling complex requirements into scalable solutions.
- Experience promoting best practices by example, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Working with Amazon Webservices, S3, EMR, Redshift etc.
- Experience working with GoLang, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink architecture
