Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting CNC machined parts, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, and supporting the execution of First Article Inspections (FAIs). This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for precision and reliability with key OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications to perform dimensional and visual inspections
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of CNC machined components
- Prepare and review AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Maintain and support compliance with AS9100D Quality Management System requirements
- Accurately document inspection results and report non-conformances
- Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and the quality team to resolve quality issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in a CNC machining environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and aerospace specifications
- Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs (preferred)
- Experience with AS9100D and First Article Inspections (FAI) required
- Working knowledge of quality documentation and traceability requirements in aerospace
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

- Perform skilled painting and rust prevention of parts and equipment per drawing specifications.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, product guides, and material safety data sheets.
- Prepare surfaces for painting or repainting by pressure washing, sandblasting, grinding, and/or sanding to remove dirt and loose paint.
- Prepare work surfaces for painting by applying masking tape over surfaces that are not to be painted cut and apply stencils.

- Work for extended periods while wearing a respirator mask in confined spaces.

+ Maintain an AME - M2 license and ACA qualifications, as required, on company aircraft.
+ Acquire and maintain Airport Security Clearance, AVOP, Passport, and full 'G' Driver's License.
+ Mentor new Apprentices.
+ Liaise with the Lead and MOC regarding scheduled assigned overnight work packages.
+ Ensure that all technical documentation, such as maintenance releases associated with defects or Work Packs, is accomplished as per company standards prior to submission to Technical Records.
