Position Summary
All members of the Kenroc team will demonstrate respect and ethical conduct, will work safely, provide excellent customer service, and will work with the team to support superior performance in the achievement of both individual and company goals.
Reporting to the Operational Leader, the Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for the damage free and efficient loading and unloading of materials. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for stocking and organizing inventory and for housekeeping of the warehouse and yard. As an ambassador of the Company, the warehouse associate is required to conduct themself in a professional manner, including a willingness to work collaboratively and respectfully with customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Understands and ensures consistent compliance with company policy, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Builds orders as per direction from operational leader or dispatcher to ensure orders are ready for trucks.
- Safely and efficiently loads customer purchases and delivery trucks accurately and promptly while optimizing the space on the delivery vehicle.
- Safely unload and organize received products efficiently from the distributor truck to the warehouse/yard.
- Ensure proper documentation is accurately completed and returned to operations/purchasing personnel in a prompt manner.
- Receives and files customer sales orders to ensure it is ready for pick up
- Conducts preventative maintenance of forklifts, and other warehouse/yard tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Completes pre-use inspections of all applicable equipment bringing deficiencies to the attention of their supervisor in a prompt manner.
- Consistently maintains warehouse/yard organization and cleanliness to Company acceptable standards.
- Participates in regular inventory counts and proactively communicates inventory levels to operations management.
- Must have a general understanding of the Company’s products and services.
- Produce quality work and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
As a member of the Kenroc Team, employees may be requested to contribute to duties outside of the role’s main scope of responsibilities as per required qualifications, licensing, and safety certifications.
Skills & Qualifications
- GED (Grade 12).
- 1-2 years of building materials industry experience is an asset.
- Forklift certificate, safety, customer service or product training is an asset.
- Class 5 driver’s license is an asset, proof of which will be required prior to being authorized to operate a Company Class 5 vehicle.

- Ability to repetitively lift up to 100 lbs.

THE ROLE
We are currently searching for a Warehouse Associate to work in our Meadowpine, Mississauga office! Under the supervision of our Warehouse Supervisor.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order picking, packing and stock replenishment
- Check and receive or ship inbound/outbound orders accurately
- Process packing slips and required documents
- Process courier freight bill of ladings and required shipping documents
- Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Operate and maintain the vertical storage system for parts, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval processes.
- Coordinate with warehouse team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for order picking. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counting and stock replenishment.
